Support Coordination

Experience

Lived Experience: I have been providing support coordination for my family for years. I have extensive experience with the NDIS and understand the constant changes that are made. Nothing beats personal experience!

Psychology Graduate: My psychology qualifications has given me an in depth understanding of disabilities, informal support systems and community and mainstream support. This holistic approach allows me to support people to build their own capacity and support systems up. 

Teaching experience: As a learning support teacher I worked in partnership with a range of specialists to support the children we worked with. I developed an understanding of specialists roles, abilities in supporting people with a disability and ability to read and understand reports and recommendations.

I am based on the Central Coast.

Experience

Lived Experience: As a mum of 2 Autistic boys on the NDIS, I have dealt with their plans for years and understand the needs of the family, as well as how to navigate the NDIS. I have grown up with a brother with a disability, and have also utilised Early Intervention for my children.

Extensive experience in disability: I have worked within the disability field since I was 18, and I have a great understanding of varying disabilities and the impact this can have on families. I am very passionate about disability and always looking at aways to improve the outcomes for my participants. 

Teaching experience:  I worked in Special Education for over 10 years as a classroom teacher. This has given me a great understanding of disability, as well as how to work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve outcomes for my students. 

I am based on the Central Coast.

Experience

Extensive experience in disability and social work: For the past 10 years, I have worked with people with various disabilities in a range of roles. These include as a support worker and social worker, working both locally and overseas.

Holistic counselling experience: I am experienced and passionate holistic counsellor, having previously owned by own business in this field. My passion lies with working with people in a person-centered and holistic approach and looking at the big picture in terms of support.

I am based on the Central Coast.
